Suki Panesar has teamed up with youngest son Vinny to try take over all of Nish’s businesses when he dies, but EastEnders fans think they have spotted a huge twist.
The mother-son duo are trying to deceive the rest of the family after the Panesar’s decided to give Nish (Navin Chowdhry) another chance after he was diagnosed with a terminal health condition.
The doctor told Nish that he had viral myocarditis and unless he gets a heart transplant – which is very difficult to come by – he will die sooner rather than later.
As Nish was broken by the news that he was dying swiftly, the rest of the family looked shocked by the news, but Suki appeared subtly pleased by the shock.
Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) swiftly forgave his dad for all of his lies and abuse in the past, while Vinny (Shiv Jalota) first rejected the idea of supporting his dad.
But he quickly changed his mind and decided to start scheming his dad in a bid to take all of his businesses.
However, Vinny is unaware that Nish overhead him joking about his deceit with Suki (Balvinder Sopal). Nish has since handed over his pest control firm to Ravi while promising “something special” for Vinny before he dies.
But some EastEnders fans are convinced Suki is also secretly working with Ravi to fleece her ex-husband Nish.
Taking to Reddit, one soap fan asked: “I’ve been wondering for a while, ever since we found out that Suki and Vinny had been planning to pretend with Nish to get the businesses, whether she also made the same deal with Ravi?”
A second replied: “Imagine if Suki knew Nish was handcuffed in the mart all along and she went there with Vinnie deliberately so Nish would overhear them and he’d rely on Ravi more… that’s probably a step too far but it would be an interesting reveal.”
While a third chimed in: “I was thinking something similar, she seemed way too calm with ‘let’s just keep going with the plan anyway.”
“Agree, it’s why I keep thinking I must have missed something (if he genuinely is supportive of Nish all of a sudden), because I cannot believe Ravi isn’t putting on a show right now for everyone – to have an underlying plan all along makes so much more sense personally”, added one viewer.
“Omg I was literally thinking the same thing and still do”, simply added another.
EastEnders airs on Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One
