Liam and Noel Gallagher to pocket mind-blowing profits from Oasis reunion tour

The Gallagher brothers will be pocketing a pretty penny thanks to their upcoming reunion.

In an exclusive interview, Celebrity PR specialist Kayley Cornelius discussed Noel and Liam’s potential earnings from their recently announced Oasis UK concerts, which are scheduled to go ahead in 2025.

The legendary band are set to play stadiums across the country, including four dates at London’s Wembley Stadium. They’re also set to wow crowds at Manchester’s Heaton Park, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Dublin’s Croke Park and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium.

Speaking on behalf of Betfred, Kayley said: “Liam and Noel are likely looking at taking home hundreds of millions each from this highly anticipated reunion. When determining how much the Gallagher brothers will pocket from the Oasis reunion, numerous factors come into play.

“While reports suggest that they are each set to take home an alleged £50 million, the reality is that this sum is likely to be much higher. Beyond standalone ticket sales, there are several other revenue streams that will significantly boost their earnings. Before any sales even occurred, there was likely a settlement fee on the table that was too enticing for the brothers to refuse, which may have been a catalyst in mending their fractured relationship.”

Cornelius explained that record labels will see the sum as a “worthwhile investment” and the brothers themselves are “undoubtedly aware of the immense value that Oasis holds”. She added: “They recognise that many companies and businesses stand to gain significantly from their reunion, so it’s reasonable for them to secure a portion of the wealth they will generate for others.”

The industry expert also revealed that “ticket sales alone are notoriously not the biggest cash generators” for artists. She continued: “The exact amount they’ll earn from ticket sales remains uncertain until final ticket prices are announced. Although, if ticket prices are similar to those for Taylor Swift’s Era’s tour, the revenue from ticket sales alone could total around £50 million.”

Although this is a whopping sum, the money will also be used to cover “touring expenses, venue fees, production and security,” meaning the Gallaghers “would only take a small percentage” – even though that amount will “still be in the tens of millions”.

The siblings will “cash in significantly” from their merchandising and marketing. Kayley said: “After tickets are sold, we can expect special album releases and limited-edition merchandise, both of which have the potential to generate millions.

“Many brands will likely seek to collaborate, eager to launch exclusive product lines that they can market to their customers. To secure these deals, they’ll need to pay top prices for access to song rights, trademarked designs, or logos associated with the Gallagher brothers.”

Cornelius made another interesting point – Liam’s clothing brand Pretty Green could also be an unexpected money generator: “[Pretty Green] could see record profits following the reunion announcement, as fans search for the perfect outfits to wear to the gigs. This could position Liam to earn even more than Noel, with the potential for additional millions coming from the increased sales of his brand.

Tickets for the band’s reunion tour go on sale at 9am on Saturday (August 31).
