The National Television Awards made a triumphant return to our screens tonight, with Joel Dommett reprising his role as host for another year.
The NTAs honour some of the biggest and best shows on British television, from talent competitions like Strictly Come Dancing, daytime favourites like This Morning, soap opera staples like Emmerdale, to binge-worthy dramas like Bridgerton.
This year’s event was broadcast live by ITV from the O2 London at 8pm on Wednesday (September 11). For the first time, I’m A Celeb champ Sam Thompson and his TOWIE mate Pete Wicks took on hosting duties for the red carpet.

The 2024 NTAs had its fair share of big winners and unexpected snubs, with Mr Bates vs The Post Office bagging some significant awards. Meanwhile, Ant and Dec scooped up the Best Television Presenter award once again – and Strictly remained victorious despite recent controversies.
