Kate, who left Liam just days before he tragically fell to his death in Argentina in October, has looked back fondly at the pair’s blooming relationship in an emotional video
Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy has shared an emotional tribute to her former One Direction partner.
Fans of the Strip That Down singer are continuing to reel from his shock passing at the age of 31 back on October 16. Liam had been staying in the CasaSur hotel in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires when he fell from the balcony of his third-floor hotel suite.
Two months on from Liam’s death, Kate is continuing to struggle with her loss and shared a heartbreaking video on Sunday (December 8) of the couple’s time together. The montage clip was uploaded to her TikTok account, using pictures and videos of the couple’s two-year-long relationship.

The video, which has since been deleted from her platform, shared a number of intimate snaps of the couple as they enjoyed their relationship. One snap caught the pair standing in front of the world-famous castle at Disneyland in Paris, as Liam planted a kiss on doting girlfriend Kate’s cheek.

A second pic used in the montage showed the couple sitting at a café and sharing an intimate moment between the two of them. Kate was seen looking lovingly towards Liam, who was making funny faces while wrapping himself around his partner.
Writing in the caption, Kate, 25, kept things simple as she wrote the words, “I love you,” dedicating the post to her late beau. She also set the video to the tune of Fade Into You by Mazzy Star.
In total, the video lasted one minute and 30 seconds, and shows the couple having a number of intimate moments across the world, including in their Miami home. In one touching image, Liam swept Kate off her feet as she exclaimed in glee whilst the couple had a luxurious getaway to a cabin.
It was not just romantic moments that Kate shared, however, as she also included a number of fun snaps of the couple. Liam and Kate were both seen bowling and skiing in other snaps that had fans in tears.
It comes three weeks after Liam’s body was finally laid to rest in Buckinghamshire. The star-studded funeral saw a number of well-known attendees, including Simon Cowell and a reunion of all surviving One Direction members.
Kate and Liam first got together in October of 2022, and the couple went from strength to strength, going public about their relationship via a red carpet event. The pair had bought a home in Miami together and had recently travelled to Argentina to support fellow One Direction member Niall Horan as he performed for thousands in Buenos Aires.
Both Liam and Kate had been in Argentina for weeks, leaving Kate homesick and yearning to return to the States. She jetted back to their home, leaving Liam to extend his stay even further in the CasaSur hotel.
According to a post-mortem carried out after his death, Liam’s passing was attributed to “multiple traumas” to the body, which caused “both internal and external” bleeding after he fell three storeys. His body was flown back to the UK last month after being held up by authorities in Argentina while investigations into his death continue.
