The Peltz-Beckham pair have spoken out against constant rumours that the pair have a huge family rift – with Nicola sharing her thoughts with a subtle Instagram move
Nicola Peltz has seemingly attempted to squash claims that she is controlling her husband Brooklyn Beckham after accusations of a rift in the Beckham clan.
Accusations of a feud have surrounded the family for months – with billionaire heiress Nicola said to be at the centre. With the eldest Beckham child, Brooklyn, appearing to be estranged from the rest of his siblings and parents, many outsiders have pointed the finger at the heiress and her supposed involvement.
However, this week, Nicola appeared to address the rumours head on by posting snaps with her family and Brooklyn, 26, celebrating her father Nelson’s 83rd birthday.
While some fans took this as a step too far, due to Brooklyn and Nicola snubbing David’s 50th birthday. Followers flooded her comment section with accusations of her controlling her husband.
But Nicola hit back by adding a like reaction on a fan’s comment that suggested Brooklyn had made his own decision.
The comment read: “The fact people are in this comment section talking b******* about someone controlling a GROWN man is absurd. The guy is an adult and can make his own decisions, leave them be and stop blaming women for everything.”
In the photos, Brooklyn smiled widely while being surrounded by his in-laws. The pictures were taken outside in the family’s plush mansion located in Bedford, New York.
“Happy birthday dad! I am so lucky to be your daughter, you’re the most loving and supportive father I could ever dream of,” Nicola wrote in the caption of the compilation post.
“I love you more than I could ever begin to express – you’re the wind beneath my wings,” the loving tribute continued.
“I loved celebrating you yesterday! Thank you for always being there for us – our constant love and support.”
Sources close to Brooklyn and Nicola have hit back at claims that the pair are overly pampered, with a friend telling The Mirror: “Nicola doesn’t deny she’s had a fortunate life, and she’s grateful for it.
“But she’s also been working for over 20 years, and now writes, directs, and produces her own projects. Her parents are proud to support their children, and the idea that this reflects poorly on them simply doesn’t hold up.”
The billionaire has often been surrounded by rumours that she was spoilt by her family. The insider slammed the notion as misguided, saying: “Calling her spoiled is false.
“For her wedding, she requested donations to support Ukraine instead of gifts, and she runs Yogi’s House, a rescue that saves dogs from euthanasia in shelters. These one-sided and false attacks have gotten out of hand.”
