Princess Andre has spoken out after a source claimed she was in a ‘bitter row’ with her mum Katie Price, insisting that there is ‘no rift’ between the pair
Princess Andre has attempted to clear the air regarding speculation about a feud with mum Katie Price, after reports emerged of a heated dispute between the pair. The 18-year-old daughter of Katie, 47, and Peter Andre, 53, has recently launched her own reality television programme, but since its debut, Princess has found herself embroiled in controversy over alleged tensions with her mother.
To top it off, Katie shared a post about motherhood which appeared quite pointed. It opened with: “Your mom is not your enemy,” then went on to discuss motherhood. It ended with: “She may not be perfect, but she’s the only woman in this world who truly wants what’s best for you, even if it costs her everything.”
Princess, who has received widespread acclaim following the launch of her ITV reality show called The Princess Diaries, has now spoken out about the gossip and firmly dismissed the claims. Ex-glamour model Mum Katie recently showed off her shocking new face after MORE drastic plastic surgery in Turkey.

Tackling the rumours of a family split, Princess told Closer magazine “there’s no rift”. She stated: “At the end of the day, it’s my show – it’s not really about any of my parents. Mum was actually featured in it, it’s just that I live with my dad. There’s no rift between anyone.”
Katie’s voice appears and Princess calls her in the series, however dad Peter and step-mum Emily are in multiple scenes on-camera.
The controversy involving former glamour model Katie and Princess began when the mother-of-five revealed she broke down in tears after being informed she was prohibited from participating in the revealing ITV documentary chronicling Princess’ journey, reports the Mirror.
Katie expressed her feelings about the programme, saying “I’m not welcome”, before alleging that Princess is “scared to upset her management” and claiming they believe “I am trash basically”.
On her podcast, Katie expressed her heartbreak over being excluded from her daughter’s 18th birthday party, which was also filmed for the show. However, Princess has since refuted these allegations, stating that her mum wasn’t even in the country at the time.
Katie shared on her podcast: “Princess is now officially an adult so mummy and Princess can now go out together. If certain people would let her be seen with me … Everyone knows she’s doing this documentary – and I’m not in it.
“Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me. It’s pathetic. I’m her mother. It’s sad … Princess was like ‘I’m having a party’. And I wasn’t invited because it was for ‘filming.'”
However, Princess swiftly responded to Katie’s assertions and presented her own version of events.
“That is completely false and I would never say that about my mum. Me and my mum get on so well and we talk all the time. It’s just a little bit awkward and it has put me in an awkward situation,” Princess stated in the series.
“My mum’s not even here. She’s in Dubai. I’ve never once said in public or private bad things about my mum.
“I would find it so awkward and weird if my mum and dad were in the same room. Mum’s not even here. I wouldn’t choose to have my mum and dad at a party at the same time anyway.”
Princess went on to clarify: “If I was having a party with my mum, my dad wouldn’t be invited and if I was having a party with my dad, my mum wouldn’t be invited and that’s just how it is. It’s not because I hate my mum. I just wouldn’t want that because it’s awkward.”
