LEWIS Capaldi is house hunting in Australia and dreams of moving Down Under.
The Scot is currently on tour in Oz and loves the Antipodean life so much he is staying for Christmas. Lewis revealed: “I’m going to stay for Christmas. Our whole touring crew are enamoured down here, so I’ve been like looking at like buying houses and stuff.”
It would be a huge lifestyle change for Lewis, but he’s willing to give it a try even if he has to spend Crimbo alone: “It’s not concrete yet, but I’m like trying to convince my mate who manages my opener Aaron Rowe, who’s on tour with us now, who’s amazing.
“He is coming down next week and I’m like, I bet I can convince him to stay with me. But if not, I just might just solo it. My mum and dad are on tour with me just now, so I’m like, I don’t I don’t really need to see them on Christmas.
“I haven’t booked anything yet, so it’s not going to be cheap, because it’s getting quite close but we’ll see.”

Lewis has gone from unlucky in love to not giving a **** after giving up on dating as well.
The Scottish troubadour was linked to actress Ellie MacDowall until mid-2024, but is single and now gets kicked off dating apps because they don’t believe it’s really him.
Lew spilled: “Yeah, they keep deleting my page. I’ve got the one (dating app) – Raya? I tell you, 2020, that was popping off. Maybe it’s just me – I’ve just got older and less desirable – but it’s not bearing many fruits.
“it’s just everyone’s like a founder or something, it’s not really my thing.
“So I’m not as active on them as I once was. I’m nature’s dating app, just walking around.”
Turns out Lewis would rather focus on his career anyway: “I don’t really want to be in a relationship with anyone. Busy, busy, I’m a busy boy. I couldn’t give myself wholly to someone.”
Lewis had therapy to help with his mental health and discovered he has an avoidant attachment style when it comes to love.
He said: “I’m like someone who’s aloof. They don’t want too much closeness, too much vulnerability.
“I’m not like a not very tactile person. Like, I’m not touchy feely.”
Being famous has only made things harder for Lewis who added: “You’re so used to like being away from stuff and not seeing people because you’re touring all the time that you’re able to like put your feelings in a little box. Put them to one side.”
