Adam Peaty’s family ‘demand’ they are removed from Gordon Ramsay’s Netflix show amid feud

Adam Peaty and his fiance Holly Ramsay have been at the centre of a family feud, with rumours about the swimmer’s mum circulating the engagement – with her latest request revealed

Adam Peaty’s family have demanded that streaming giant Netflix remove them from from an upcoming docuseries made by Gordon Ramsay, according to reports.

The mother of the Olympian, Caroline, has reportedly written an angry letter to Netflix and said she does not want to be on screen attending the engagement part of Adam and his wife-to-be, Holly Ramsay. Reports from the Sun claimed a source demanded a prompt response. Dad-of-one Adam, 30, and Holly, 25, are due to wed at Bath Abbey in Somerset.

However, Adam’s mum is not invited to the ceremony due to a long-standing feud between the two families.

A source told the Sun: “Caroline has written to Netflix to say the family were not asked for their consent to be filmed for Gordon’s documentary at last year’s engagement do”.

The source detailed that Caroline gave a speech at the party, but has made it crystal clear she does not wish to be involved.

With merely one month remaining until their big day, the Olympic swimmer and Holly have been embroiled in a family feud for months.

Friction between Adam and his family allegedly kicked off at the pair’s extravagant engagement celebration in London last December, with the Ramsay dynasty and Adam’s now-alienated mum Caroline present.

Reports suggest the bash was captured on camera for Gordon’s behind-the-scenes documentary series, Being Gordon Ramsay. The celebrity chef, 59, was followed for nine months as he launched five fresh restaurants in London, whilst balancing his home life.

Scenes from the programme will show Holly and Adam alongside their families during more harmonious moments. Yet away from the cameras, difficulties were already simmering.

In a bombshell interview, mum Caroline revealed her heartbreak over the wider Peaty clan being left out in the cold from the celebrations. She disclosed to the Daily Mail how she messaged Holly, saying: “You know how important family is to you, as it is to me. My sisters are not coming to the party, they have been there all through Adam’s life..

“Adam didn’t take kindly to me sending that message,” she revealed, whilst insisting she reassured Gordon at the bash that “there was nothing horrible in those messages.”

Adam’s aunt, Louise Williams, publicly slammed Holly for shutting out Caroline, branding the move “divisive and hurtful” – a stance Caroline openly praised her for taking.
