Emmerdale was late broadcasting on Thursday evening, and fans were left frustrated as they waited for the soap to start.
The ITV soap was supposed to begin at 7pm, but at four minutes past the iconic programme still hadn’t started.
It eventually began, but the late start didn’t go unnoticed among Emmerdale fans.
They took to Twitter to air their annoyance, as one viewer wrote: “4 minutes past 7 is f***in ridiculous ffs.”
“4 minutes late your getting like EastEnders, Emmerdale”, penned another.
A third added: “Who is joining Me for our first visit of the evening to the Dales @emmerdale on @ITV now”, before the show had even begun.

During yesterday’s dramatic instalment of Emmerdale, fans were convinced Chris Tate will “return from the dead”.
Viewers noticed a reference to the late character as Charity Dingle raged over her son’s behaviour during a row with Moira.
Chris (Peter Amory) was killed off on the ITV soap back in 2003.
He died on the floor of Home Farm with Charity Dingle by his side in emotional scenes.

Before his tragic death, Chris was father to his third wife Charity’s son, Noah.
Charity made reference to Noah’s late father during Wednesday’s episode.
A desperate Moira (Natalie J Robb) burst into the house, letting Charity know Noah was determined to join the army.

Scoffing, Charity insisted Noah was only saying he would join the army in an act of manipulation, saying he was “just like his dad”.
Viewers went into meltdown after the reference, as one wrote: “CHRIS MENTION WOOO!”
Emmerdale continues tonight at 8pm on ITV.
