LadBaby has won the race to be crowned the Official Christmas Number One 2020
YouTuber Mark Hoyle, his wife Roxanne and their two kids, beat queen of Christmas Mariah Carey to the top spot with their latest catchy track Don’t Stop Me Eatin’.
The official music video of the song, posted by LadBaby on YouTube, hit almost a million views in just four days.
All money raised from the song will be donated to the Trussell Trust foodbank charity.
It comes as LadBaby mum Roxanne tearfully recalled a time when she and Mark had a very strict budget of £20 per week to buy food, but when she arrived at the checkout, the total came to £20.70, leaving her “embarrassed”.

LadBaby is no stranger to winning the Christmas Number One spot and 2020 marks third consecutive year the family have won the gong.
The family of fundraisers first won the award in 2018 with their version of We Build This City, and they did the double last year with their track I Love Sausage Roll.
Don’t Stop Me Eatin’ marks LadBaby’s third Christmas Number One.
Speaking to presenter Katie Thistleton on Radio 1 on Christmas Day following the announcement, Mark said: “We can’t believe it.

“It’s our third time winning it and we’re so happy people are supporting us because it is for such a good cause.”
Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas You finished the race to Christmas Number One 2020 in second place One countdown and Wham’s Last Christmas was ended up in the third spot.
Celebrating a Christmas Number One is a British festive tradition that goes back decades, starting in 1952.
Al Martino was the first artist to claim the prize with his track Here in my Heart.
Since then, a wide variety of tracks have scored that special Number One spot – from festive faves and wintry ballads, to the occasional dance banger and, of course, a sprinkling of quirkier tracks.
