Caroline Flack has been found dead at her home at the age of 40 after taking her own life.
The TV host spoke fondly about hosting Winter Love Island, dubbing it the “hottest series yet,” just weeks before being arrested and charged with assault by beating.
Prior to her untimely death, the star had become one of Britain’s most well-known TV presenters, fronting shows like I’m a Celeb’s Extra Camp, Xtra Factor and Love Island.
The 40-year-old faced the media glare in December 2019 when police were called to her Islington abode over complaints of a “domestic disturbance”.

Since reports emerged, she stepped down from hosting the Love Island series and her plastic surgery show The Surjury is believed to have been shelved until further notice.
It was previously reported the presenter was involved in an alleged altercation with boyfriend Lewis Burton, which saw Flack allegedly hit him with a lamp while he slept.
She attended a court hearing at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on December 23 and pleaded not guilty to the common assault charges before facing trial in March.

Days later, she shunned the regular Christmas festivities and signed up for volunteering at a local church over the Xmas period.
Sources told the MailOnline Caroline lent a hand at Golden Years – an organisation which provides food and company for the vulnerable.
According to the publication, the star finds volunteering “rewarding”, and last year posted a picture of herself helping at a church in Stoke Newington.

Following her charitable cause, Flack booked a ticket to LA before NYE and was seen arriving at Heathrow Airport.
According to The Sun, Flack fled the UK in a bid to “focus on herself” away from the attention back in the capital.
She arrived back on British turf in January and has since kept a low profile. She was last seen two days ago at a rock climbing gym with her friends in London.
