The sister of Real Housewives of Cheshire star Rachel Lugo has alleged the star split from her husband when his mistress sent her texts telling her about their affair.
Rachel, 45, talked openly in an episode of the show in October last year that she planned to divorce her property entrepreneur husband John Lugo, who she shares five kids with.
It came after Rachel took to Instagram in March last year to tell her 226,000 followers that she and John had been having marriage troubles.
The star was asked if she and her husband were still together by a fan.
Rachel replied in a video, saying: “Loads of you are asking this question.
“John and I are having a bit of a bumpy ride.”

She added: “We are trying to see if we can work it – we’ve been together for a very long time, it’s five children.”
And on New Year’s Eve in 2018 she used Instagram to tell her followers “cheating on a good person is like throwing away a diamond and picking up a rock” – adding: “You are welcome to him! Happy New Year!”

Now Katie Kane, Rachel’s twin, has re-shared the post alongside an allegation that John had been cheating on Rachel with another woman.
She also alleged that his mistress sent Rachel a bombshell text informing her about the affair.
And Kate, who occasionally makes appearances on The Real Housewives, claims John’s new woman even messaged her to ask if she knew she was pregnant and sent her half-naked snaps.
She wrote with her post: “How happy does my twinkle @rachellugo1 look.

“You so deserve to feel loved and cherished! You’ve come a long way since your world fell apart after receiving messages from your husband’s mistress informing you of their affair.
“Things went to a new low when she sent me a DM out of the blue asking me if you knew she was pregnant…. obviously you didn’t.
“To send half naked photos of herself pregnant was just plain weird but she obviously couldn’t contain her excitement.

“I’d like to congratulate them both on the birth of their baby, I hope they’re as happy as you are.”
Rachel Lugo has been contacted by Daily Star Online for comment.
Daily Star Online contacted John Lugo’s property firm, which he runs with Rachel, about Katie Kane’s allegations – but at the time of publication he had not responded.
Rachel announced her divorce during a girls’ night out on the show.
“I’ve kind of made a big decision in my life and it is a big step,” she said.
“I’ve decided that I’m not going to take anymore s**t and it’s not a celebration, I don’t want any cheers because it’s quite sad after 24 years but I’ve actually petitioned for divorce.”
John and Rachel have a Grade II listed property in Alderley Edge, Cheshire and run a property firm together, The Sun reported.
In an episode of Real Housewives last year, John told how much he wanted his wife to have their sixth baby.
In response she said: “Five years of sleepless nights and this body getting ruined again? No.
“I’m not having another baby. Five children we’ve got, he can’t be serious.”
