HRVY has quit social media following his stint on Strictly Come Dancing which saw him inundated with rumours that he has a blossoming romance with co-star Maisie Smith.
The 21-year-old singer and stunning 19-year-old EastEnders actress are alleged to have a romance brewing and have become the biggest story following the BBC show.
Neither HRVY nor Maisie have confirmed or denied whether they are dating.
Now HRVY has announced to his fans that he is taking a break from social media following the last whirlwind months of his life.
The star took to his official Twitter account to make the announcement to his 610,000 followers on December 27.

HRVY tweeted: “Thinking of you all, just taking some time away from my phone, be back soon.”
He followed it up with the red heart emoji and the tweet gained over 4,000 likes.
It led many fans to take to the comments section of the tweet thread to wish him well and encourage HRVY to take as long as he needs.
One fan tweeted back in response: “Honestly take as much time as you need.”

Another wrote: “take the time to look after yourself! I’m not going anywhere! Love you so much.”
“Take as much time as you need, we’ll be still here when you come back, we’re not going anywhere,” tweeted another loyal and loving fan.
“Take all the time you need harv, I hope you’re better off when you get back, ly,” gushed another.
One commented: “I hope you’re alright harv, take ur time and look after yourself hope everything’s okay, happy holidays.”
Hours later, despite his announcement, HRVY returned to Twitter to share one more tweet.
He simply tweeted: “Please please can 2021 be kind to us.”
The star has also liked two tweets during his social media break.
One of UMusic Publishing UK retweeting his “be kind 2021” tweet with their own words: “Monday Motivation from HRVY.”
He also liked a tweet by Johnny Orlando, whichread: “2021 is gonna be a good year. *manifesting*.”
