Ant and Dec suffered a cringeworthy awkward moment during tonight’s series launch of Saturday Night Takeaway.
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, both 44, were back for the hotly anticipated new series when an embarrassing moment occurred live on air.
The ITV presenters introduced a segment where they were giving one couple a house at the start of the show.
The hosts took a serious turn as they told the audience that guests Petra and Simon lost their daughter when she was only 9 half years old.
However at the the same time, the audience began giggling as the mum was picking her teeth on the video screen behind them.

Dec pulled an awkward face as they said: “Lets not focus on what’s happening on the screen” to the audience.
The hosts quickly recovered as they explained how they were going to surprise the couple with a new house.
In an emotional moment, they showed a clip of their new house with their children Petra and Simon sitting on the brand new sofas.

The family had never been able to afford their own home, and after helping 2000 bereaved children, they deserved this incredible prize.
Camila Capello was the celebrity guests announcer for tonight’s show, while Pussycat Dolls performed in the End of the Show Show.
They also took part in a hilarious new global Ant Vs Dec, where the duo will do challenges based on different countries each week.

This week, it was Norway, with Dec saying: “Norway? No way!”
The pair looked completely different in some hilarious Viking outfits.
Ant was wearing a loose red tunic with embroidered gold detailing underneath a thick cape with a fur hood.
