Ashley Ross, who is known as Ms. Minnie and as a star on Little Women: Atlanta, has died at the age of 34.
She passed away after sustaining injuries from a hit-and-run accident.
The reality TV star’s management confirmed the tragic news in a statement, writing: “It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka ‘Ms. Minnie’ from ‘Little Women Atlanta’ has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34.
“The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”

Minnie is best known for being a main cast member on Little Women: Atlanta, which hit the small screen in 2016.
The series is a spin-off to Little Women: LA, and the sixth season is set to air in 2020.
Little Women: Atlanta is a reality show that follows the lives of a group of little women living in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout the series, the women deal with drama, men, friendship and careers.

Discussing her involvement on the show, the star previously told MadameNoire magazine: “I wanted to be part of this movement because I want everyone to see our point of view in life.
“I want people to, you know, see what we go through. The everyday struggle that little people go through in life.
“When people say the struggle is real? It’s real. We go through hell and back.”

A spokesperson for the television show issued a statement to PEOPLE, saying: “She was the most beautiful, kind, giving, generous human ever. She was adored by cast and crew because she always wore her heart on her sleeve.
“There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for those she loved.”
