Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon spoke to celebrity interior designer Kelly Hoppen and got some advice about how to make her home more cosy.
The 41-year-old spoke to design expert Kelly about her living room on a joint Instagram Live, with Alesha taking the 60-year-old around her lounge.
Viewers got to see inside Alesha’s seriously grand living room, complete with high ceilings, plush millennial pink sofa chairs and a dazzling chandelier in the centre.
A huge mirror was placed above a fireplace, while a glass coffee table was situated in the middle of the room, with some white flowers on top.

Alesha told Kelly that the room was “far from finished” so they “avoid it”, so Kelly came in with some helpful ideas.
For starters, Kelly noticed the cushions on Alesha’s sofas were squashed down in the middle, and she quickly pointed it out.
She asked the singer why she had “karate chopped” the cushions, saying it made them look like they were taken from a yacht.

Alesha quickly fixed her apparent mistake and said that she thought the pulled down middle was actually quite in style.
Kelly also had some advice to fix a huge wall that was empty apart from a big flat screen television.
She said: “What you need is a cabinet, but not something on the whole wall, that would be a disaster.

“It needs to be modern, in lacquer, in a neutral colour. If its modern, it will look like it floats, with cupboards underneath it and shelves over it with books on and accessories.
“Then have art either side. Something new and less grand. This will bring the ceiling down so it doesn’t seem too high. You could have lighting behind it, to create a shadow of light.”
It sounds like Alesha has plenty to keep her busy during lockdown now, doing some online furniture shopping.
