Britney Spears may not have released new music since 2016 but she’s still keen to let her fans know that she appreciates them.
The pop icon, who is dating fitness guru Sam Agashi, sent fans into meltdown on Friday night after updating the album cover for her ninth studio album Glory.
In a surprise move from Britney, the close cropped initial cover of her face was wiped from all streaming services and replaced with a red-hot new snap.
The new shot, which was taken by photographer David LaChapelle, sees Britney stripped down to a golden swimsuit as she writhes on the floor in the desert.
Showcasing her seriously trim frame, the Toxic songstress stuns in the never before seen image.
Thanks to the swimsuit featuring cut out sides, Britney makes sure her yoga-toned frame is centre stage.
In a kinky twist, the Gimme More starlet appears to be bound by large metal chains.
Posting to her army of online fans, Britney shared an image of the cover along with the caption: “You asked for a new Glory cover and since it went to number one we had to make it happen.
“Couldn’t have done it without you all.”
Earlier this month Britney’s album Glory shot up the charts thanks to a campaign by fans.
When it was first released in 2016 the record peaked at No2 in the UK and No3 in the US.
It sparked smash hits such as Make Me, featuring G-Eazy, and Private Show.
Britney is currently on a break from music in order to look after her health.

The superstar had been due to kick off her second Las Vegas residency Domination last February but the plug was pulled at the last minute.
At the time Britney told fans it was due to the poor health of her father, Jamie Spears.
However, just weeks later she took to social media to confirm reports she had checked into a wellness facility – telling fans in an online clip she needed time to “deal”.
