Cara Delevingne last night jumped to the support of her of ex-girlfriend, Ashley Benson.
The supermodel, 27, took to her Instagram page urging fans to stop sending hate messages to the Pretty Little Liars actress.
Cara and Ashley split earlier this month after the former lovers were first linked together in August 2018 after being pictured kissing at Heathrow Airport.
They confirmed their relationship less than a year later in June 2019.
It’s believed that their relationship had “ran its course”.
At the time of their split, a source close to the pair told People Magazine: “Cara and Ashley always had their ups and downs before but it’s over now.
“Their relationship just ran its course.”
Sharing a statement to her Instagram story, Cara said: “It’s more important now than ever to spread love not hate.
“To everybody hating on @ashleybenson please stop.”

She added: “You don’t know the truth, only her and I do, and that’s exactly how it should be.”
Speaking to People Magazine, an insider claimed that Ashley and G-Eazy’s relationship “feels like just a fling for now”.
They added: “She’s getting over a breakup.”

Speculation surrounding Ashley’s relationship with US rapper G-Easy started after their pair appeared to lock lips while on a trip to get food in Los Angeles.
The news of Ashley’s alleged new romance comes after the pair collaborated on a cover of Radiohead’s hit record, Creep, which G-Easy recently posted to his Instagram page.
Cara and Ashley went public with their relationship in June 2019, shortly after the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall movement.
Speaking to E! News, Cara said: “I don’t know because it is Pride, it’s been 50 years since Stonewall happened and I don’t know,
“It’s been just about our one-year anniversary so, why not?”
