Charlotte Hawkins' 'sex face' mocked by Piers Morgan as he fakes orgasm on GMB

Piers Morgan couldn’t resist mocking his Good Morning Britain co-host Charlotte Hawkins today – likening her appearance on Catchphrase to the moment Meg Ryan faked an orgasm on When Harry Met Sally.

The outspoken star, 55, couldn’t resist teasing Charlotte, 45, after she posted a collage of snaps showing her pulling a range of faces during her time on the show.

Piers said: “She posted this, her own reaction to the show, and I suddenly had this flashback to where I’ve seen this before.”

“Yeh, it is Meg Ryan on When Harry Met Sally…can you give us that look again.”

Embarrassed, Charlotte replied: “No, no I can’t.

“Someone posted it on Twitter and I thought that it summed up what I had gone through the whole process.”

The blonde babe added: “And yeah… I did not think of that side of it.”

Not letting it drop, Piers continued by making faux sex noises, leaving poor Charlotte speechless with the outburst.

As Susanna Reid giggled, he continued: “When you won did you go ‘yes, yes, yes?'”

Last month Piers gleefully boasted after GMB enjoyed record ratings.

The feat means the gap between the show and rival BBC Breakfast is now the smallest it has ever been.

Taking to Instagram, Piers wrote: “BREAKING: Our first day back on @gmb yesterday was the highest rated show in the programme’s history! 28% audience share. 47% up year-on-year.

“Sadly, @bbcbreakfast collapsed to its lowest rating of the year.. thoughts with them at this difficult time. Thanks for watching.”

Keen to stick the boot in, Piers added on air: “Last Tuesday you and I came back.

“I never like to overstate the impact of our return…”

Susanna interjected: “But the ratings were massive.”

Beaming, Piers continued: “We had the biggest ratings we’ve ever had in the history of GMB,

“A 28 percent share which is the biggest we’ve ever had and the BBC crashed to the lowest ratings of the year on the same day.”

Mocking BBC host Dan Walker, he added: “I’ll tell you what Dan if you do lose your job over the ratings and it can’t be long sadly.

“God forbid you do [lose it] because we need you there…

“But if you do, you won’t be able to work at AJ’s Unisex Hair Salon unless you start to chirp up a bit because she doesn’t want miserable people.

“You’re going to have to put a smile on your face buddy because if you’re on the job market soon which is quite likely and you want a hair salon job…”
