Coronation Street viewers are certain that Summer Spellman (Matilda Freeman) hurt young Oliver Battersby after he suffered a fit during tonight’s visit to Weatherfield.
The schoolgirl was left to look after Oliver after his dad Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) spotted daughter Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) fighting with ex-boyfriend Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni).
Streetcars owner Steve offered Summer a fiver to look after his young son, while he went over to help Emma, who was chucking Seb’s clothes out the window.
After calming the situation down outside, Steve turned home to his son.
Summer said: “Steve come quick, I don’t know he was watching the telly and then he suddenly just went funny.
“He was shaking, it was like a fit. I don’t know, it literally just happened.”

The pair rushed Oliver to the medical centre but fans were quick to point the finger at Summer’s behaviour and think she may have caused the youngster harm somehow.
Taking to Twitter, one fan of the ITV soap said: “What has she done?”
Another said: “Did Summer do something to Oliver?”
A third posted: “Poor Oliver.”
A fourth added: “This is worrying.”

Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Dr Gaddas assures Steve that everything is okay but tell him to take Oliver to A&E as a precaution.
It all kicks off when Oliver’s mother Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) arrives at the hospital and discovers that Steve left her son with Summer.
However, the concerned parents could have a lot more to worry about than placing blame as the doctor reveals Ollie’s test results.
The young tot could be diagnosed with a life changing illness and he’ll need his parents to come together to support him.

Speaking previously to the Metro, Corrie boss Iain Macleod teased: “There is a huge new story which I can’t say too much more about at this stage.
Having re-established Steve and Tracy’s relationship on its strongest footing, something will happen that probably has the most far-reaching impact of any story we’ve done since I’ve been on the show, and I include both stints, where something horrifically difficult and challenging will happen that draws in three or four different clans on the Street and forces them to deal with the hardest thing anyone would ever had to deal with.
“That will begin on screen, you might not know what it is at first, around March/April, and that will play out over the spring and into the summer.”
Coronation Street continues on ITV on Monday at 7.30pm
