Coronation Street script 'leaked' as major character looks set to be killed off

Coronation Street ‘s Maureen Lipman, who plays Evelyn Plummer, has revealed that she had soap scripts nicked after she accidentally left them in the back of a taxi.

Coronation Street spoilers may soon be leaked after Maureen left her rucksack, which contained scripts, in a cab as she headed to the set, which is in Media City, Manchester.

She told Oldie Magazine: “I began to think laterally. We’d paid for our smoked-haddock fishcakes and the large vodka at the baffling Sainsbury’s self-service till.

“Maybe I’d removed the pack from my back to help me relax while addressing a speaking barcode?”

A member of the public found the bag in Stockport, but the script as well as Maureen’s iPad and sunglasses, had been taken.

Karen had managed to track her down using details from prescription pills inside the bag.

Maureen continued: “It smelled of dog pee, but she hadn’t washed it because of possible DNA traces. Full marks, Karen!”

The potential script leak comes ahead off Ali Neeson’s (James Burrows) soap exit, which is set to be seriously dramatic.
