Coronation Street newcomer Kimberly Hart-Simpson opened up about her sexuality on today’s Lorraine, revealing she identifies as bisexual.
The 33-year-old, who recently joined the Corrie cast as sex worker Nicky Wheatley, discussed the importance of celebrating Pride month with host Lorraine Kelly.
Kimberly revealed she designs her own clothes, and has dressed former Hollyoaks star and pal Jessica Ellis for a red carpet event in a Pride-inspired rainbow gown in the past.
She said: “That was really important for me to do as well.”
The soap star explained that, as a bisexual, the LGBTQ community has a special meaning for her, with celebrations, talks and educational events taking place across the country during Pride month.
