Davina McCall horrified as daughter, 16, is sent X-rated pics on 'explicit' site

Davina McCall has issued a warning to fellow parents of teens, after discovering that her daughters were being sent X-rated imagery on the chat website Omegle.

The website’s tagline is “talk to strangers” and users can either chat in a chat room or via webcam as well.

Iconic Big Brother host Davina, 52, described the website as “the most dangerous site” she has “ever seen” and urged parents to make sure their children aren’t using it.

She explained that the website is like a roulette of webcams and you can put in your gender and who you want to speak to.

The 50-year-old said: “Tilly showed it to me, I sat down off camera, she was on camera – out of the five people that she had, bearing in mind it’s 10 o’clock in morning, two of them were just pictures of men’s groins, with a s****y, w***ing.

“It was the most explicit, horrific thing I have ever… I was like, ‘Oh my God.'”

Davina is mum to Tilly, 16, Holly, 18, and Chester, 13, from her marriage to ex-husband Matthew Robertson.

She continued on her Making The Cut podcast: “I’m amazed it’s legal. And warning someone that there are predators on there – it says a lot, right? There’s got to be better ways of meeting people.

“There aren’t many things… I consider myself to be a really liberal person, but this was a step too far for even me. It’s much too easily accessible to kids.”

Thames Valley Police recently said: “Chatting to different people online can be fun, but as Omegle acknowledges, there is a strong risk of users encountering sexual content on Omegle.

“This is not limited to viewing adult sexual content but could also be young people performing sexual acts or exposing themselves.

“Talk to your child about the dangers of giving out personal information such as their age, their location or their full name to people that they don’t know.”

Omegle’s opening text includes the warning: “Predators have been known to use Omegle, so please be careful.”

It also says that users must be 18+ or 13+ with their parents’ permission.

The website also claims that the video chat is monitored, however there is also an “adult” or “unmoderated” section available.

In small text at the bottom, it says: “Omegle video chat is moderated. However, moderation is not perfect. You may still encounter people who misbehave. They are solely responsible for their own behaviour.”
