Emmerdale star Sammy Winward has left fans gobsmacked by sharing a photo of her ‘identical’ daughter
The actress, who played Katie Sugden on the ITV soap between 2001-2015, took to Instagram to share the snap.
The 34-year-old had fans thinking she had posted a photo of herself, as fans mistook a photo of her 15-year-old lookalike daughter Mia for the star.
Sammy’s photo saw Mia taking a selfie after getting her second earrings pierced and her first set of blonde highlights.
Mia was seen smiling into the camera as she showed off her transformation.

Sammy wrote: “Finally gave in to getting her second earrings done and her first set of highlights!!! She’s growing up way too fast for my liking!”
Fans were shocked at the ‘identical’ resemblance, as one wrote: “Honestly I thought you had got your earrings done. Wow, two peas!”
While another exclaimed: “My goodness I thought this was you!! So like you!”

As a fourth added: “Your double, jeez.”
Sammy shares Mia with former partner, footballer David Dunn, with the pair in a relationship between 2004-2005.

Her Emmerdale character Katie Sugden made her first screen appearance on 18 July 2001 and departed in 2005 when Winward took maternity leave.
She returned to the show in 2006, but took another break in 2013.
Sammy returned again on 30 October 2013, but in November 2014, it was announced she had quit the soap and would leave at the end of her contract.
Her character Katie died on 5 February 2015 when she fell through the floorboards after being pushed by her brother-in-law and ex-lover Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and made her final appearance on 9 February.
