Gemma Collins has risked a run-in with fellow star Ferne McCann after she resented doing a voice over for her new TV show.
On the finale of Gemma’s show Diva on Lockdown, which aired on Sunday evening, the Essex native had to perform a variety of voiceovers for her ITVBe programme, which also included having to introduce her former The Only Way Is Essex co-star’s upcoming show.
The 38-year-old dubbed the promotional work “embarrassing” and quickly got onto the blower to manager Mark, demanding why she had to introduce other people’s shows.
It’s been a rocky friendship for The GC and Ferne after the pair regularly became embroiled in slanging matches on TOWIE, with one instance seeing Gemma calling her rival a “c**t”.

A row broke out between the pair after Gemma was allegedly told she needed a gastric band.
And looking like they haven’t moved past their differences, Gemma was unhappy when she was made to introduce Ferne’s ITVBe show First Time Mum while also plugging her own.
Reading the script and recording her lines, the self-proclaimed diva said: “Now though it’s time for a bit of Dinner Date with Joe Swash.”

Re-reading the line, Gemma fumed: “Why have I got to introduce Joe Swash? Sorry, it’s a bit embarrassing. I’m not a presenter I’m a star. Why am I introducing people?”
And upset Gemma wasted no time and soon gave her manager a call to query her involvement in other people’s promotional work.

However, Mark, insisted that it wasn’t a bad thing and would be good publicity for her own show, and after the conversation, the TOWIE star thought it was best to continue.
She explained: “I’ve got no issue with Ferne, I’ve got no issue with Joe Swash. I’m not some beg voiceover. I’m a serious customer.”
“Obviously I’m more enthusiastic when I’m talking about myself.”
Gemma doesn’t mince her words…
