Good Morning Britain ‘s Andi Peters is known for his cheeky sense of humour, and his quick wit on today’s show was no exception.
The 49-year-old star appeared on GMB to present a competition segment from his garage, chatting with hosts Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh via video call.
However, things took a turn when he asked the presenting duo to identify what was different about his garage, pointing out that he had changed something in the room.
Asking the presenters to “guess” what had been swapped around, he took a swipe at presenter Adil with a subtle jibe.
He quipped: “Adil you’ll have no idea. You’re only a part-timer.”

Clearly miffed, Adil replied: “Oh thanks…”
The awkward moment was saved by Ranvir, who was quick to point out that the flowers in Andi’s garage were a new addition to the room.
Andi replied: “Yes Ranvir! You’re good.”
The ITV star, who is gearing up to present Lorraine next month, left Ranvir and Christine Lampard in stitches on yesterday’s show.
Christine had no option but to cut Andi off after he took a swipe at her guest, who happened to be Ranvir.
Adil was floored after presenter Andi branded him a “part-timer”
While Ranvir sat on the sofa, waiting to be interviewed, Christine jumped quickly to the competition segment, showing Andi on a boat, urging viewers to take part in the giveaway.
On August 10, Andi is due to take over from Christine, presenting Lorraine until the Scottish host returns from her summer holidays in September.
Andi couldn’t help but take a swipe at Ranvir, as he suggested she would be “banned” from appearing on Lorraine while he is the host.
He swiped: “Not when I’m on, love.”

Whipping out a piece of paper, Andi joked that he had a list of celebrities who weren’t permitted to appear on the show during his reign.
Mocking anger, Ranvir instructed: “Cut him off Christine,” before ordering the camera crew to “push him in”.
Christine followed suit, and declared: “You’re off Andi.”
Instantly, Andi’s face disappeared from the screen, as Christine confided: “I bet he does have a list do you know that. Everyone who’s crossed him.”
