Homes Under Hammer actor Martin Roberts has been left devastated after his adorable and beloved 14-year-old Golden Retriever Mylo died.
Martin, 57, who is now a TV presenter following an acting career, recalled how he had no choice but to put his furry best friend down after the pooch suffered two strokes.
Mylo was put to sleep by a vet at 14-years-old after living a very happy life with her family of animal lovers, which they documented over the years on their social media.
Taking to his official Twitter account, Martin shared the heartbreaking news with his 25,000 followers.
He broke the news by sharing a touching tribute to the pooch along with a lovely photo.

Martin tweeted: “Such an unbearably sad day. Mylo, my 14 year old Golden Retriever has recently suffered two strokes, and on the advice of the vet he’s just been put to sleep.
“If you’ve ever lost a pet you’ll know how I feel right now. Heartbroken.”
He finished off the tweet with: “Rest in peace my faithful friend.”
Martin’s fans immediately and sweetly rushed to share their condolences with him and wish his family well during his time of need.

“This is heartbreaking, he looks a great dog and you’ll have many great memories,” another said.
Martin replied to them: “Thank you. Feel pretty low right now.”
“So sorry to hear this Martin…May he rest in peace. Pets are family and is so hard letting go,” one wrote.
One fan replied: “I have been there, it’s awful, thinking about you.”

The sweet post was attached to an adorably sweet photo of Mylo sitting on a beach looking as content as can be.
Martin has co-hosted long-running to this day auction show Homes Under The Hammer since it first aired back in 2003.
He also appeared in the 2016 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, spending just a mere 14 days in the jungle before leaving a double elimination along with his campmate Wayne Bridge.
Martin has also been married for 10 years to his beautiful wife Kirsty, and the pair have two children together.
