Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing has signed up for the new season of Strictly Come Dancing, it has been confirmed.
This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield broke the news on today’s show, as they welcomed Jamie to the Strictly family.
The 31-year-old reality star was due to take part in the 2019 season, only for a horror knee injury to force him to pull out of the competition.
Jamie had been partnered with series champ Oti Mabuse, having perfected routines before a nightmare fall left him unable to walk.

With just weeks remaining before the series began, the reality star was replaced by Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher – who later went on to win the Glitterball Trophy.
Chatting about his return to the dance floor this morning, Jamie said: “I’m over the moon that I actually get to come back and dance again.”
The E4 star, who founded the confectionary company Candy Kittens, revealed he has yet to tell his parents he is taking part in the show.
Laughing, Jamie remarked: “Mum, Dad, I’m doing Strictly. They don’t know again which is hilarious.”
Jamie spent the lockdown with his girlfriend, Made In Chelsea’s Sophie Habboo, though the cheeky chappie revealed the quarantine nearly drove them to breaking point.
He confessed: “I think everyone will agree with me. I nearly broke up with my girlfriend because she didn’t think Worchester sauce goes in bolognese.”

With Phil and Holly bursting into laughter, he added: “It was a big hiccup. It’s crazy not to!”
Though the official start date for the new season of Strictly has yet to be confirmed, the series is expected to debut in late October.
So far, famous faces such as EastEnders’ Maisie Smith, boxer Nicola Adams, GMB’s Ranvir Singh and comedian Bill Bailey have been confirmed for the new season.
This Morning airs on weekdays at 10am on ITV.
