Jennifer Aniston urges fans to wear face masks after personal virus heartbreak

Jennifer Aniston has revealed the heartbreaking effects of the deadly coronavirus.

The Friends actress shared a snap of her friend in the hospital, hooked up to a ventilator after the Covid-19 virus almost took his life.

Jennifer, 51, captured the seriousness of the virus which has caused the world to enter lockdown.

Taking to Instagram, Jen shared a picture of her friend Kevin who had been left fighting for his life.

Encouraging fans to wear face masks in public, she said: “This is our friend Kevin. Perfectly healthy, not one underlying health issue. This is Covid. This is real. ⠀

“We can’t be so naive to think we can outrun this…if we want this to end, and we do, right? The one-step we can take is PLEASE #wearadamnmask.”

She went on to say: “Just think about those who’ve already suffered through this horrible virus. Do it for your family. And most of all yourself. Covid affects all ages.”

Jennifer later confirmed that the snap was taken in April and that Kevin “has almost recovered”.

In June she wrote: “I understand masks are inconvenient and uncomfortable. But don’t you feel that it’s worse than businesses are shutting down… jobs are being lost… health care workers are hitting absolute exhaustion. And so many lives have been taken by this virus because we aren’t doing enough.”

“If you care about human life, please… just #wearadamnmask and encourage those around you to do the same.”

It’s believed that Friends bosses are hoping to reunite the cast for a special one-off episode.

However, filming is dependant on the coronavirus restrictions.
