Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino has posted his incredible before and after pictures of his amazing weight loss transformation.
The reality TV star has been following the keto diet for years – a low-carb, high-fat way of eating – in order for him to shift the pounds and cut his body fat.
During the candid post on Instagram, the New Jersey native opened up about his yo-yo dieting and admitted he has battled with his weight before he found fame on the hit MTV programme.
Underneath the two pictures, he wrote: “A lot of people didn’t know that I struggled with my weight my whole life. I was the king of yo-yo dieting. I was my biggest during the years I was off TV so a lot of people didn’t realise.

“My genetics make me gain weight easily especially to high sugar/carb food. That being said I believe calories also matter.
“If you eat a surplus of calories a week you will gain weight and if you eat less calories than you burn you will usually lose weight (unless you’re in too much of a deficit and your body goes into starvation).
Vinny, who previously revealed he lost 50 lbs on the Keto Diet, explained weight loss and how he eats “sustainable foods” which helps him intermittently fast.
He added: “My bloodwork indicates my body has been healthier than ever.

“Everything just seems to regulate itself out when I cut processed sugars and grains and eat quality meats, fats, and greens for the most part (with treat meals in between of course) this isn’t easy to do in the modern sugar world but possible.”
He concluded: “So you can eat Twinkies and be in a deficit and probably lose weight but is that healthy and sustainable? Choose what calories are best for you.”
Vinny has been sharing his dieting process with fans on his own Instagram, and following the overwhelming demand for his recipes, he released The Keto Guido Cookbook last year.

Peppered throughout with Vinny’s personal stories, as well as a scientific breakdown from Ketogenic Diet Expert and Wellness Coach, Karissa Long, the book also features keto-fied American-Italian classics and hearty meals.
Clearly pleased with his rippling abs, the TV personality was snapped up by the Chippendales in Las Vegas and now features as a celebrity guest in their live shows.
