Katie Price's son Harvey discharged from hospital after contracting 'bug'

Katie Price’s disabled son Harvey has reportedly been discharged from hospital.

The 18-year-old, who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, needed urgent medical attention yesterday.

Harvey was taken away from his sister Princess’s 13th birthday in an ambulance after falling ill with a bug.

However, according to The Sun Online, the teen has been allowed home after having tests on Monday.

A representative for Katie reportedly told the publication: “Harvey was kept under observation and then discharged last night.

“He was home in time to enjoy a slice of Princess’s birthday cake. He picked up a bug, which led to an elevated temperature and the ambulance was called as a precaution.

“Katie is very glad he’s back at home.”

A rep for Katie told the publication yesterday that Harvey had been taking to hospital after not feeling very well at Princess’ party.

They said: “Katie recognised the signs and knew when to call an ambulance. He’s expected to be discharged later today.”

As well as having the rare genetic condition Prader-Willi syndrome, which can causes behavioural problems and weight gain, Harvey is also partially blind and on the autistic spectrum.

Princess, who is Katie’s eldest daughter with Peter Andre, was celebrating turning 13 at their rented Surrey home yesterday.

As well as Harvey, whose dad is former footballer Dwight Yorke, Katie shares Princess and Junior, 15, with ex-husband Peter Andre.

The star is also mum to her two younger children – son Jett, six, and daughter Bunny, five – with ex Kieran Hayler.
