Louise Redknapp has been left devastated by the death of her pet dog Corky, confirmed that he died on Wednesday on her Instagram page.
The singer took to Instagram with a handful of photos of herself with the pooch as she paid tribute in a lengthy caption.
The 40-year-old said: “I’m so heartbroken to have to share with you that we lost our gorgeous boy Corky yesterday.
“I’m gonna miss the howling when there is someone coming in the house, the drool on the floor when there is food around and the big cuddles on the sofa.”
She went on: “Thank you Wild at Heart Foundation for bringing him into our lives, we adored him from the moment we got him.

“We will miss you so much, sleep tight our beautiful boy, love you forever.”
In the first photo, Louise puckered up as she went to give Corky a kiss on the end of his nose.
The second saw the beauty waving to the camera as she hugged the dog, kissing him on his head too.
She smiled in the third, holding Corky’s head up to the camera as she snapped away for a selfie.

The final two photos were just of Corky, showing him pottering around her house.
Louise’s 713,000 followers were quick to leave their well wishes and condolences, with the tribute racking up more than 14,300 likes.
One fan said: “So sorry for your loss.”
Another wrote: “Aww bless, besties always.”
A third commented: “Oh no, so sorry. Nothing like a dog’s love, fly high across rainbow bridge Corky.”
Someone else said: “Aw I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s absolutely heart wrenching to lose our fur babies. You gave him a wonderful life full of love. Big hugs.”
While a fifth added: “I’m so sorry – I know how hard it is to lose a puppy that’s been part of your life for so long – just concentrate on knowing how happy his life has been with you.”
