Maura Higgins slams trolls over 'Photoshop' claims before deleting sexy snap

Love Island star Maura Higgins shocked fans as she took to her Instagram story to declare that she had deleted an earlier red hot snap, that left very little to the imagination.

The former Dancing On Ice star had previously shared a post that showcased her wearing a tiny bikini as she posed up a storm for the camera in her bathroom at home.

After sharing the image, keyboard warriors claimed that the picture had been “Photoshopped” which really seemed to rattle Maura’s cage.

In a bid to end the on-going “abuse”, Curtis Pritchard’s ex deleted the post, telling her 2.8 million followers that she “just couldn’t be dealing with the s**t”.

The 29-year-old certainly seemed to let off some steam as she fumed over comments internet trolls had made.

Not wanting to be beaten down by the bullies, a hysterical Maura later returned, explaining that after some thought, she’d now reinstated the post.

She said: “So my recent post that I just uploaded yeah I’ve deleted it.

“I just couldn’t be dealing with the s**t, yeah I just couldn’t be dealing with the s**t, actually couldn’t be dealing with the s**t. ‘Oh it looks so Photoshopped’, get over it.”

“By the way it’s not actually Photoshopped yeah there’s different lighting on it because I put filter on it and just to prove you all wrong I’m going to upload the video onto my story, just to show you all I’m actually just fantastic.”

Doing just as she had promised a sizzling video of the Irish beauty appeared, that saw Maura smouldering as she moved her body into position for the camera.

Some time late, she returned again, telling fans “I’m sorry” before bursting into fits of giggles at her earlier meltdown.

The reality babe added: “I cannot stop laughing. I feel like lockdown is sending us all a pretty crazy.

“It’s just not like me to delete a photo just when I get some abuse. I’ve put the photo back up, I’ll deal with the abuse because I always have done.”

“It’s probably just the lockdown, yeah, I mean we’re all losing our marbles a bit I reckon. Send the hate my way, I can take it.”

Staying true to her word, the sassy photo reappeared, with a caption which read: “Smile for me baby.”
