Meghan Markle picked shirt with 'special meaning' for Disney interview

Meghan Markle’s white shirt for a recent Good Morning America interview had a ‘special meaning’.

Prince Harry’s wife was seen talking about her Disney Elephant voiceover on GMA earlier this week.

In the chat, Prince Harry’s wife spoke about being ‘really grateful’ to have the opportunity of bringing the story of to life.

While doing so, the 38-year-old was seen wearing crisp white shirt from her Smart Works capsule collection which she launched last summer in London.

The Duchess of Sussex is patron of the charity, which helps women get back into work by offering them style advice and interview tips.

For each garment sold, one is then donated to the initiative.

Meghan also wore a similar shirt on tour of South Africa last September.

The brunette also wore the buttoned garment with smart black trousers for the launch at John Lewis which marked her official return from maternity leave.

It also had an outing when she visited a surf group helping vulnerable youngsters in South Africa, as she wore the shirt under a denim jacket.

Talking about the new Disney documentary, Meghan said in the pre-recorded chat: “These creatures are so majestic and at the same time they are so sensitive and so connected.”

I hope that when people see this film, they realise how connected we all are, and if we had more of an awareness about the obstacles they are facing, I think we’d take care of each other, animals and this planet in a very different way.
