Earlier in the day Mark shared a video on social media that showcased him using clippers to remove his long hair, later revealing a new sleek short cut.

After his new hair style was complete, he shared a post saying: “Isolation made me do it.”

Mark, 33, initially didn’t want to nominate Olly Murs, 35, as he knew he loved his blonde locks but after requests came flooding in to nominate The Voice judge he couldn’t resist.

Addressing his 1.6 million Instagram followers, the reality star said: “I didn’t want to nominate you because I know he loves his blond barnet at the moment, but with the amount of requests I’ve just got to do it mate.”

After Mark had faced the chop on camera, he urged fans to send in requests for others to also join in the fun.

Speaking to camera he said: “So I’ve obviously cut the barnet for quarantine life, but the question is if you’re sent a challenge during this period you have to accept it, am I right in thinking that?

“So I’m going to challenge a couple of people to shave their nuts, not them nuts, that nut (he pointed to his head), though you can shave them too.

“Stay there I’ve got a couple few people in mind, but tell me who you should think I should challenge to do this quarantine challenge.”
