Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid are now officially on their summer break from Good Morning Britain.
The presenting duo were back on our screens this morning to host their third and final edition of the ITV breakfast show of the week.
Wednesday marked Piers and Susanna’s last day before they take a summer break – with the pair returning in September
They will be replaced by Kate Garraway, who will be hosting the show from Monday with Ben Shephard.
Kate announced the news as she emotionally gave an update about husband Derek Draper today.

Derek has overcome coronavirus and is out of his coma, however he is still ‘critical’ and doctors say it could take him years to recover.
Kate said on the show today that Derek nearly died six times as said she is upset for her children Darcey, 14, and Billy, 10 as it feels like they have ‘lost’ their dad.
Ahead of today’s show, Piers penned on Twitter: “It’s our last day on air tomorrow until September and we intend to make it a Fiery one.

“So if you love us, loathe us, or just want to throw your remote at the TV, tune into GMB from 6am. I’ll be shouting. @susannareid100 will be pouting, and we’ll both be clouting.”
ITV viewers were gutted to see Piers and Susanna take a break from the show.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “You’ll be greatly missed. Never the same without you. Who will be presenting over the summer?”

Another added: “Ah gutted Piers and Susanna are breaking.”
A third posted: “The show isn’t the same without Piers and Susanna.”
A fourth said: “OMG Gutted no Pier and Susanna.”
However, many are now delighted it has been announced Kate will return.

Piers and Susanna have presented Good Morning Britain together for the last five years.
The former newspaper editor guest-hosted five episodes of Good Morning Britain on ITV in April 2015 and he became a permanent co-host in November the same year appearing alongside Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins.
Susanna was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt before swapping channels to present Good Morning Britain on ITV.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers and Ben Shephard.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am
