Piers Morgan has been slated online for posting screenshots of private messages he claims were from Caroline Flack.
The Good Morning Britain host, 54, shared the messages from the former Love Island presenter Caroline, 40, which were about presenter and actress Jameela Jamil.
Caroline tragically took her own life on Saturday 15th February.
Piers posted screengrabs from a conversation with Caroline, captioning his Twitter post: “Jameela Jamil is having a lot to say about online harassment, so in the interests of balance, here is a message Caroline Flack sent me last October after the same Jameela Jamil led an online pile-on against her regarding a new TV show she was doing.”

The messages from the former Love Island host read: “Please have pictures…
“I’m struggling with Jameela..
“The hate she aims at me.”
He shared the snaps with his 7.1m followers on Twitter.
Fans quickly slammed the tv star, saying he had no right to post the private messages.

One fumed: “Whatever your grievances. Let private messages stay private. Oh, forgot. You are not too good on that.”
While another wrote: “Regardless of whatever has gone on/been said…exposing Caroline Flack’s message to support an argument, (now she is not here) is just really inappropriate.”
A third typed: “Prob not the right thing to share private messages between you and a deceased person.”

“U shouldn’t have done this Piers. I normally agree with u but this is very low revealing private messages” added a fourth.
Caroline Flack tragically took her own life just over a week ago.
Her family released a statement saying: “We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today, the 15th of February.
“We would ask that the press respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.”
