Piers Morgan ‘s eldest son Spencer made a playful swipe at his father after the Piers Morgan revealed he misses his children as they continue to isolate separately during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Shortly after Boris Johnson’s coronavirus announcement surrounding the new lockdown measures on Sunday night, the acid-tongued presenter expressed his concern over the new unclear rules set by the government.
He noted that the PM’s message lacked clarity, and he confessed that he was unsure if the new sanctions allowed him to see his children who live in different households.
Taking the twitter, the 55-year-old exclaimed: “I haven’t seen two of my sons for 10 weeks. They live 10 minutes away, next to a large common.
“Am I allowed to go and see them, if I stay 2 metres away? The answer appears to be no, yet I can see 1000s of strangers a day in my local park if I stay 2m away. Makes no sense.”

But it appears Spencer is happy with the current set-up being away from his outspoken dad.
Trying to lighten the mood, the 26-year-old quote-tweeted Piers’ initial comments, writing: “No, stay away from us”.
With the UK confused following the Prime Minister’s announcement about what is or isn’t allowed during lockdown, Piers decided to interview Edwina Currie on Tuesday’s Good Morning Britain for clarification on the new rules.
During the heated discussion, Piers confessed that the government guidelines are confusing and could she outline exactly what the government mean with their social distancing guidelines – and who people can meet outside of their households.
“It all makes perfect sense,” she quipped.
However, Piers wasn’t too happy with her answer, and asked: “Why can a cleaner come to my house several times a week? But neither of my two sons – who I haven’t seen in ten weeks – can do the same? Explain to me.”
The ex-Tory MP replied: “Because your cleaner can clean, making your house a much healthier place – surfaces, doorknobs, the toilet.”

“One of my sons is a great cleaner, so he could do that job?”
Running out of a valid explanation, she exclaimed: “You’re haranguing me.”
