I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Scarlett Moffatt has said she was made to look “thick as s**t” by Gogglebox bosses by only being showed short clips of TV programmes.
Speaking on BBC Radio 1 today with her boyfriend Scott Dobinson, Scarlett, 29, and she said her TV gig on the programme was “actually very difficult”.
She said: “It was actually very difficult. Don’t take the mick. Do you know what was difficult?
“For example, you know Downton Abbey, we used to have to watch Downton Abbey, but ten minutes of it…”

Scarlett continued: “I’d never watched Downton Abbey, like a full episode, and they show us ten minutes of like a man bleeding from the mouth and then I’m like what’s going on, what’s happening, who’s this and they only show that and it looks like I’m thick as s**t, but really it’s because I genuinely don’t have a clue what’s going on.
“I’m like, seriously who is this because I’ve never watched it before so actually it was very difficult.”

Scarlett’s comments about Gogglebox come as she paid tribute to fellow programme star June Bernicoff who died on May 5 at the age of 82.
Scarlett took to her Instagram story and said: “You will be missed by all. Reunited with your true love. Sending love to your family and all that knew and loved you.”

June and Leon were fan favourites on Gogglebox and joined the programme at its inception in 2013.
Their loving relationship, which saw them playfully bicker as well as share truly tender moments, delighted viewers during their time on the show.
