Strictly Come Dancing ‘s Neil Jones made a hilarious swipe at former show star Kelvin Fletcher on social media earlier this week and fans of the BBC programme couldn’t get enough.
Professional dancer Neil, 38, had an entertaining comeback for the reigning champion of the hit BBC show.
Kelvin, known for his previous work on Emmerdale, had taken to social media earlier this week to reminisce about his favourite Strictly moment.
In the cheeky post, Kelvin made a reference to his win on the show as being the most memorable experience for him.
“What’s your top #Strictly moment of all time?” the original post from Strictly Come Dancing read.
Kelvin responded on Twitter: “When that farmer guy came in to cover for someone and shaked his little hips and ended up winning.”

Although he seemed to be talking about his own win, Neil had a witty comeback that appeared to put Kelvin in his place.
“I didn’t know @JayMcGuiness was a farmer,” Neil wrote on his own Twitter profile.
Jay McGuinness was, in fact, the Strictly Come Dancing winner from 2015.
Neil’s fans found the comeback absolutely hilarious and took to the social media comment section to share their enjoyment.

“Ha ha, you are cheeky Mr Jones,” wrote one fan.
Another added lots of laughing face emojis.
Neil’s tweet came shortly after it was reported that the professional star would not receive a celebrity partner this year.
A television insider recently revealed that Strictly bosses have decided that he will just perform in the group dances.
“After a lot of discussion it was decided that Neil will be dropped from the line-up of professional dancers so he won’t be partnered with a contestant,” the source exclusively told the Daily Star.
“He will still be part of the show but only in group routines. So viewers won’t see much of him anymore.”
The dancer is reportedly said to have been “devastated” by the news.
