Chilling BBC One series The Nest, which stars Line of Duty’s leading man Martin Compston, returned to screens tonight.
During the episode, Dan Docherty (Martin) visited he and wife Emily’s (Sophie Rundle) baby, which was born at 25 weeks, as surrogate Kaya (Mirren Mack) lay in her hospital bed.
But while viewers remarked about how touching the moment between Dan and his premature newborn was, they claimed there was a ‘continuity error’ on the programme.
One social networker remarked: “So confused … one min the baby is ventilated next she is on oxygen and moving about.”
While another continued: “One minute the baby is on oxygen and the next she’s on an ventilator @BBCOne if you’re going to do a premature baby storyline at least do it accurately #TheNest.”
Daily Star Online has contacted the BBC for comment.
Kaya was later questioned by a detective in the hospital over the death of her ex-boyfriend Kian.
The detective appeared to not be convinced by what Kaya was saying and said: “Why lie?”
Kaya snapped back: “Why lie? Why tell the truth when you’ve already made your mind up about me?”
After speaking with Kaya, the detective spoke with Dan and Emily, prompting Emily to go back to the hospital and ask Kaya to take a DNA test, as she was suspicious that the baby may actually be Kaya’s.

Kaya refused to take a DNA test until Emily transferred her another £20,000, and an exasperated Emily obliged.
The DNA test results showed that their was no genetic match with Emily and Dan, but also the DNA didn’t match Kaya’s, leaving Dan and Emily baffled.
But the twists and turns didn’t end there, as after a heart-to-heart with Kaya where Dan told her he loved the baby, Kaya agreed to let him and Emily adopt her.
The Nest’s final episode will air on Easter Bank Holiday Monday at 9pm on BBC One
