This Morning's Ruth Langsford in hysterics as Rob Rinder drops X-rated innuendo

Judge Rob Rinder really pushed the limits of acceptable daytime television on Tuesday’s This Morning after he dropped a cheeky X-rated innuendo.

He spoke to hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes in the studio, while they were joined by Kevin Adams on video link – and his back drop got everyone talking.

Eamonn has grown a habit of mentioning their virtual guests’ “massive clocks” behind them, which often gets a giggle from Ruth and whoever is with them in the studio.

But today Rob Rinder took things a step further as they were discussing gender roles in a home, with Ruth saying she always does the cleaning and cooking while Eamonn doesn’t do as much.

The telly judge cheekily said: “I’m entirely sure if one day you were at home and Ruth said, ‘Look, I’m not going to polish your clock today, you do it yourself,’ you’d do it with real skill.”

The duo struggled to keep their composure as they laughed along, before Ruth asked Kevin: “Do you polish your own clock or do you have someone to do it for you?”

Viewers at home were finding all the “clock” talk hilarious, with many taking to Twitter to have a laugh.

One joked: “Just waiting for the day when the autocue drops the L from ‘massive clock’!”

Another laughed: “I can’t believe they’re talking about polishing Eamonn’s clock on This Morning.”

A third said: “Massive clock! Only at Eamonn Holmes, only you… love it! Rob Rinder smirking away.”

Someone else tweeted: “I nearly fell off my chair then… massive clock!”

And a fifth added: “So naughty, Ruth polishing Eamonn’s clock.”

While a sixth wrote: “I can’t cope with the huge clock talk.”

Rob Rinder had arrived on the show on his bicycle after Eamonn and Ruth spoke to a cyclist who had filmed Guy Ritchie texting on his phone behind the wheel.

The movie director was banned from driving for six months, with the This Morning guest discussing the incident and how drivers react to his vigilante ways.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV
