Tipping Point fans gush over 'scrummy' new contestant on Ben Shephard's show

Tipping Point fans were unable to contain their excitement today after contestant Anna appeared on the show in a bid to take home a bumper cash prize.

The TV hopeful was joined by a three other contestants who were all hoping to get as many counters over the tipping point as possible on the programme hosted by Ben Shephard.

Despite being slow off the mark when it came to answering the questions, Anna soon came into her own and raked in £450.

The brunette sailed through to round two after fellow contestant Janice failed to bank any money at all.

But rather than being excited by her general knowledge, viewers of Friday’s Tipping Point couldn’t stop gushing about her looks.

Dressed in a plunging green top, Anna looked naturally stylish as she took on the machine.

As she did, Twitter was quickly awash with tweets from love-struck fans.

One viewer gushed: “Anna on #tippingpoint. Isn’t she scrummy.”

A second chimed in: “Hellooooooo, Anna!” before adding a string of love-heart eyed emojis.

A third added: “Anna’s awfully polite #tippingpoint.”

Meanwhile, a fourth crudely begged for the hopeful to get down and dirty with them.

A fifth praised: “How adorable and teeny is Anna. Smiling face with heart-shaped eyesRed heart #TippingPoint.”

During round 2 the Scottish gal only managed to correctly answer two questions but it was enough to sent her through to round three.

Awkwardly, Anna went blank and failed to remember that the annual boat race between Oxford and Cambridge only consists of two universities.

Regardless, she managed to bring in £700 into her prize pot putting her in second place behind Tom.

After fellow contestant Baz was given the boot, it was left to Anna and Tom to battle it out in the all important third round.

Tipping Point continues on ITV weekdays at 4pm
