TOWIE fans were taken on a trip down memory lane on Sunday as the ITVBe reality show celebrated 10 years on our screens.
Narrator Denise Van Outen has been the hidden gem of the show throughout its 26 seasons.
But Denise 46, appeared in-person on The Only Way Is Essex for the first time ever as the show marked its momentous milestone.
The blonde bombshell was seen relaxing on the sofa as some of TOWIE’s famous faces returned to the show.
Denise looked sensational for her in-person TOWIE debut, donning a palm-print mini dress and nursing a large glass of fizz.
TOWIE fans were left confused why Denise burst into tears during the end of the episode, with some questioning if the show was ending.
Taking to Twitter, one fan posted: “Why is Denise in tears? Its 10 years not the last ever one. Is it?”
Another added: “Denise, why are you crying?”
A third said: “I never knew Denise Van Outen was the voiceover? No way!”
A fourth said: “Denise, there is no need to cry.”
The nostalgic episode reflected on moments from the past decade, while catching up on all the current drama.
As Harry Derbidge geared up for his forthcoming nuptials, cousin Amy Childs was seen trying on a white dress to wear to the ceremony.
The mother-of-two wore a second bridal dress for a night out at the Sugar Hut, which she teamed with a bright-red wig – she was famous for her letterbox-red locks in the early series.
Fans were obsessed with the return of Amy’s red hair and rushed to discuss her iconic look on Twitter.
One fan penned: “A red-haired Amy talking to Harry like it’s 2010.”
Another added: “OMG Amy’s red hair is back.”
A third said: “Amy looks so good with her red hair back. Hope she keeps it.”
While for others, the 10th anniversary special was a chance to look back on how far the stars have come.
Former Playboy bunny Chloe Sims reflected on her ten years in Essex with her stylish family, as Frankie Essex and Charlie Sims returned to the show.
Elsewhere, Georgia Kousoulou and Chloe caught up with new mum Danielle Armstrong after she gave to baby Orla.
TOWIE hunk Mario Falcone was also back with his adorable son Parker and reminisced with pals Chloe and Charlie Sims about his life before fatherhood.
Meanwhile, James Lock caught up with Elliot Wright via video call as the pair discussed the latest news.
