EastEnders star Alex Ferns looks worlds away from his BBC soap character in the new Batman trailer.
Alex played villain Trevor Morgan in EastEnders between 2000 and 2002.
His character was introduced as the estranged husband of Little Mo Slater (Kacey Ainsworth), whom he had domestically abused and mistreated throughout most of his duration on the series in one of the soap’s most memorable storylines.
Alex, 51, was known in the show for rocking a smooth face and dark locks.
However, he looks totally different in the trailer for new movie The Batman – rocking grey locks, a beard and glasses.

Alex is playing commissioner Pete Savage in the new film, which is set to be released in 2021.
The upcoming movie sees Robert Pattinson become the Dark Knight for the first time.
The film is one of the most anticipated DC movies, with Matt Reeves directing.
Production on the film shut down by the coronavirus pandemic, however it’s hoped things won’t be delayed too much.
The film focuses two years into Bruce Wayne’s career as Batman, a period when he’s still just a masked vigilante.

Reeves has stressed that Batman isn’t Batman yet, and there are people “who are afraid of him, quite frankly.”
As well as his role in the new Batman film, Scottish actor Alex has had many other roles since EastEnders.
These include starring as Glukhov in HBO and Sky Atlantic hit TV series Chernobyl, as well as films including Legend (2015) alongside Tom Hardy.
The star has also starred in other TV shows such as BBC’s Casualty and ITV series Vera.
