Alex Reid and his fiancée Nikki Manashe are celebrating the birth of their new baby daughter.
The couple had been trying for a long time for a baby, and underwent gruelling IVF treatments.
Nikki shared the brilliant news on her Instagram page, telling fans about their new little girl with a beautiful picture.
Under the adorable snap, she shared an emotional poem about the joy of their new arrival.
The sweet pic is of their new baby clasping excited mum Nikki’s finger.
The words read: “Welcome to the world little Miss Reid I loved you from the very start, you stole my breath, embraced my heart.
“Our life together has just begun, you’re part of me my little one.
“As mother with child, each day I grew, my mind has always been with thoughts of you.
“As you lay next to me I dim the light, I whisper, “I will always say I love you” every night.
“I loved you from the very start, you stole my breath, embraced my heart.
“As mother and child our journey has just begun, my heart’s yours forever my perfect little one.”
Nikki also shared the new photo to her Instagram story, tagging Alex and playing a song called ‘Mama’s Hand’ by Queen Naija, with lyrics saying “hold onto Mama’s hand and never let go.”
Nikki and MMA fighter Alex have been sharing the trials and tribulations they went through in their journey to conceive.
They revealed last year that they were expecting twins following several IVF treatments.
Tragically, in December Nikki miscarried one of the babies.
Following their happy news, fans have rushed to the comment section to leave their congratulations.
“Amazing news! Congratulations! Have been waiting for your news today, so incredibly happy for you,” gushed one.
“Aww, welcome darling girl” added another with heart emojis.
The congratulations continued: “Amazing! You guys did it Enjoy every second.”
Alex shared cute posts in the run up to the birth, joking with Nikki that “having a baby is a cinch! Mini Reid’s coming home.”
The MMA fighter was previously married to Katie Price, and won the seventh series of Celebrity Big Brother.
Nikki and Alex met in 2013, and when they announced their pregnancy news after trying for so long, Nikki said: “Even miracles take a little time.”
“We still hope, and sometimes against all odds, against all logic, we still hope.”
