BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker tells Sally Nugent to ‘be quiet’ as guest praises his moves

BBC Breakfast’sDan Walker has shut down Sally Nugent’s complaints about his Strictly Come Dancing performance as Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing gushes over his impressive dance moves.

The former finalist shared his thoughts on the 44-year-olds’s latest routine over the weekend as he joined them on the sofa on Monday to talk about his new show, I Like The Way You Move.

As the doting dad raised the topic of the hit BBC One dance competition, Sally couldn’t help but share her annoyance as the reality star complimented him on his brilliant Cha Cha Cha with his professional partner Nadiya Bychkova.

But this time the beloved presenter hit back at his co-worker as he told her to “be quiet” while he continued to pay him countless compliments on her dance technique from the show.

As the blonde hunk joined the pair on the BBC morning show, Jamie couldn’t help but catch up about all things Strictly after he promoted his new BBC show during Saturday night’s programme.

Before they could discuss his new show, the TV personality opened with: “Can I just say, you are unbelievable [on Strictly]. You’re so good on it.”

And as soon as the dancing duo begin to exchange notes on the once-in-a-lifetime experience, disappointed Sally was quick to share her annoyance at covering the same topic each week.

As Dan started to share how much he was enjoying his time on the show, his brunette co-host interrupted him and said: “Don’t tell him that, stop it.”

But this time the TV presenter took a stand for himself as he shut down her complaints live on the show.

As she started to moan, Dan politely told her to “be quiet” as they discussed tips and tricks on the hit dance show.

Yet the main topic they discussed was the uncontrollable nerves the pair felt during the show, as Jamie confessed he often felt the urge to rush to the bathroom when the cameras went live.

He asked Dan: “Have you needed to go to the bathroom just before you’ve gone on?”

To which he quickly replied: “All the time but when you’re strapped into everything it’s a bit difficult isn’t it?”

As Jamie reflected on his time on the show last year he confessed: “At the semi finals, honestly, I thought, ‘This is going to be the most embarrassing moment. I’m going to be on that show where something terrible happens.’

To which Sally questioned: “Was it nerves Jamie?”

As he replied: “I don’t know what it was. I think someone slipped me a laxative!”
