Ben Shephard has night in with co-host as he shares hopes for Dry Jan to end

Tipping Point star Ben Sherhard revealed that he spent Saturday night in with his Good Morning Britain co-star Charlotte Hawkins.

While Ben usually presents ITV’s GMB alongside Kate Garraway and Susanna Reid, he has occassionnally had to step in to present beside Charlotte.

The pair, who are firm friends, have always been vocal in sweetly supporting each other’s career highs.

Yesterday, Ben took to his official Twitter account to share one of Charlotte’s latest career moves and helpful tips for her own followers.

To his 765,000 followers, Ben shared a print screen of one of Charlotte’s handy Spotify playlists and shared that he was spending his Saturday night in listening to it.

The list, called Charlotte Hawkins – Mindful Moments, featured a lengthy playlist of Charlotte’s favourite classical songs.

It contained enough songs to go on for four hours and 27 minutes.

Charlotte wrote in the description of the playlist: “Classical music has always been important to me. I really hope by sharing some of my most-loved pieces of music…”

Along with the screen grab, Ben tweeted: “Saturday night in with @CharlotteHawkns never let it be said I’m not rock n roll!! …….I really need #DryJanuary to end.”

Ben followed it up with the frustrated and laughing emoji.

Charlotte later retweeted Ben’s tweet and wrote a message back.

She tweeted in response: “Lucky you @benshephard! Hopefully it’s helping to ease the pain of #DryJanuary (#MindfulMoments is Number 1 in the charts for a 5th week btw… it’s a good job I’m not doing dry January!!)”

Ben’s followers rushed to reply to his tweet.

One tweeted back: “Feeling your pain, completing dry January alongside home school is my Everest!”

Dawn Neesom wrote: “A @WestHam fan doing dry January. Definition of insanity,” followed by the winking emoji.

“Dry January in lockdown I think not,” said one fan followed by the laughing emoji.
