Simon Webbe, of Blue fame, had some happy news to share with fans this week – he’s become a dad for the second time.
Celebrating the arrival of his first child with his wife Ayshen, Simon, 45, explained they felt “blessed” to become parents to their “bundle of joy”.
Taking to social media, he shared a black and white image of himself and his bride, with Simon seen cradling Ayshen’s pregnant stomach.
Announcing their baby’s birth, he wrote: “We’re so blessed to announce we have a new arrival.
“Our baby is doing well, Mummy is in recovery and Daddy is rushed off his feet!”
The singer went on: “We want to be honest and let you know we’re in our perfect bubble – our pregnancy reveal was with @hellomag and you will finally get to meet our bundle of joy through them too!

“We can’t wait to introduce you to the most perfect baby. We’re so in love. Thank you so much for all your support – it means the world. The Webbes xxx.”
Simon’s Blue bandmate Antony was the first to comment below the post, sending his well wishes to the couple while jostling to become the best “uncle” to the tot.
Antony Costa wrote: “Congratulations to you both ..can’t wait to meet your new arrival…I think I’ll be the better uncle out of the lads x.”
Simon already has one daughter, Alanah, who was born from a previous relationship with his ex-girlfriend Nicola Jones.

Alanah was born before Blue catapulted to fame at the turn of the millennium, with his daughter eventually inspiring the 2007 single Grace.
Simon and Ayshen announced they were expecting their first child together earlier this year, admitting they felt “so grateful” to watch their family grow.
“For the last 20 years I’ve been gallivanting all over the world,” Simon told Hello! magazine.
“But now I’ll be concentrating on what’s important, and that’s family. I want to be that solid, strong guy for Ayshen and our baby.”

Simon explained the baby was born out of love, with the couple overjoyed to welcome a child after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage three years previously.
The sweethearts married in August 2018, with Ayshen and Simon saying “I do” in an intimate ceremony at the five-star Corinthia Hotel London.
Simon’s Blue bandmates – Antony, Lee Ryan, and Duncan James – were in attendance on their special day, cheering their old friend down the aisle.
