Britney Spears 'borrows phones off strangers' to avoid conservatorship rules

Britney Spears is claimed to have “borrowed phones from strangers” in a desperate bid to speak to friends away from the surveillance of conservatorship.

The reports also explained that the hitmaker would reach out from random numbers while hiding in closet to avoid being caught out.

Sam Lufti, 46, who was Britney’s former manager, claimed that he had taken more than one call from the songstress who had phoned him from the personal line of a complete stranger.

On one occasion, he even got a call back from the owner of the phone who had been surprised that the Pop Princess had asked to use his device.

In 2019, Sam was handed a five-year restraining order but he remained defiant that Britney still made contact “every once in a while”.

Speaking to The New Yorker he said: “I’ll go years without contact.

“And then I’ll get a call every once in a while from her in a closet.”

Recalling one conversation with the star, he added: “Last time she called me, she was at Ralphs, in Calabasas.

“After she hung up, I got a call from the same number – it’s an Asian doctor, who says, ‘Wow, this is surreal, Britney just borrowed my phone’.

“Five years ago, she borrowed a phone at the gym and just made off with it.”

His fresh claims land after Britney spoke out against her conservatorship for the first time on June 23rd.

The Oops… I Did It Again singer joined remotely at Los Angeles Court expressing her version of the truth to Superior Judge Brenda Penny.

She claimed she is currently being “forced” to keep an IUD inside her body which acts as a contraception and prevents her from having any further children, even though she would like to extend her family.

Britney also alleged that she isn’t even permitted to have bedroom door under the current rules, explaining that she has “no privacy”.

While addressing the court in Los Angeles, Britney also compared herself to a sex traffic victim, revealing that she had been “forced” to work.

Speaking to the judge about her farther Jamie Spears, she said: “I cried on the phone for an hour and he loved every minute of it.

“The control he had over someone as powerful as me – he loved the control to hurt his own daughter 100,000 percent. He loved it.”
